Hello! We're Eling and Dan.

Between us, we've logged a lot of hours on piano, saxophone, and drums. Not professionally - just the kind of playing that was part of growing up and that we've always been glad we did. We remember the lessons, the practice, and the particular satisfaction of finally getting something right.

We started Good Measure because we wanted to help others in our Brooklyn community capture that feeling. Whether you're a beginner or someone returning to music after some time away, we never want finding an instrument to be a barrier to playing that first note. We believe it should be easy, affordable, and a little bit exciting.

When we’re not working on Good Measure, we’re at the playground with our two daughters who currently have us hooked on K-Pop Demon Hunters.
